Katse Fish Farms is a vital link in the Three Streams Value Chain. Our vision for Katse is to be the leading, sustainable producer of the highest quality Trout in the Lesotho Highlands, and with this we have a commitment to benefit the communities we interact with. Three Streams and Katse Fish Farms are invested for the long term and we see our custodian role playing out over many generations. Katse Fish Farms involvement in the wiring of seven schools in the surrounding villages, was primarily geared towards improving and strengthening access and quality in local education. The project is aimed at creating a more pleasant learning environment and offering better educational opportunities for local children. The project aims to assist with creating a more favourable atmosphere at rural schools, which in turn assists in stopping/slowing down the mogration from rural to urban schools, and increases enrolments at the local schools in the villages.
