On Thursday, 15 October, suppliers came together once again for the annual Bidfood South Africa Cape Town Trade Show in the Market Hall at GrandWest Casino and Entertainment World, the largest of Bidfood’s regional trade shows.
This year, the traditional themes were set aside in favour of something even more meaningful: celebrating great products, strong customer-supplier relationships and the power of building brands together.
The day kicked off busier than in previous years, with many key customers and industry role players arriving early to explore, taste and experience what suppliers had to offer.
At Three Streams, we showcased a selection of our premium seafood products, treating visitors to a duo tasting of our popular Cold Smoked Salmon and Trout Ribbons, packed for Bidfood under their Chef’s Classique private label, alongside a bite-sized sample of our ever-popular Hot Smoked Salmon and Trout with Pepper, Mustard Seed and Dill.
Available in convenient 200g portions and fillets, this fully cooked, flavour-packed product can be enjoyed hot or cold. Whether paired with vegetables, flaked over a fresh salad or stirred through a creamy pasta, it delivers a delicious burst of flavour in every bite!
Our product display on ice offered visitors a closer look at the range available through Bidfood, including Raw Salmon and Trout Portions, trout fillets, Chef’s Classique products, shavings and offcuts.
The event was well received, and we are proud to be part of the Bidfood supplier network, particularly through our valued private-label partnership with Chef’s Classique. Strong partnerships like these are what make it possible to bring quality products to more customers while building trusted brands together.
